Greetings,

Well since the office laptop is always with me (now that I don't really have a pc) I tried to reset the router modem (given to me by the ISP) so I wouldn't need to keep changing ip addresses (the home network and office ones have different segments).

What happened was that:
A. I forgot my router modem's password and had to reset it.
B. As the router modem was reset, I couldn't get it to reconnect to the internet.

Tried calling the ISP but they gave me some BS about not really knowing about the router settings and all they could do was ask me to switch it on and off and whatnot.

Well I FIXED IT. After a day of tweaking with PPoE Over LLC and whatnot.

Dav out

Great work Dav, but it's a shame that they didn't help you enough.
