O' Yee Of Good Faith

I am going to go and get a hair cut, because my hair at the moment (or the fuzzy ferret that lives on my head as I like to call it sometimes) is out of control. Its been sometime since I’ve gone outside to a barber or a unisex salon to get my hair cut, and I hope I go to a place that’s cheap and does a good job. I’ve been getting mom to hack off my hair for a very long time now, because she not only does a good job at it, its also free (yes, I told you I was cheap).

Aaahhhh there’s nothing like waking up in the early mornings on a Sunday morning, fresh air, simple breakfast, burning acidic pain in my stomach due to the gastric…. Yes, yes… I think I have everything anyone would want in live. It’s 6 am, Sunday (I TOLD YOU ALREADY!) and I’m up having breakfast watching MTV. I am in pain. Loads of pain. Took another tagamat, and I’m chilling while it works its magic. I need to keep my eyes open for a spare unused stomach in the newspaper adds today….

Ok here’s the deal. I don’t usually rant about the crappy stuff that happens to me, and I don’t usually name names (people and companies) in this Blog. Also, I rarely curse, because you never know how young these fans of my blog can be. (um.. yeha right!)

But we went out for dinner the other day, to a local restaurant (local, cheap, asian-type restaurant), and I shall now list down the suckieness of the above mentioned restaurant:

• When we got there, there were some free tables, but they were not cleared. We hung around hoping some of the staff would clean up, but that only happened when we pestered some of the staff. Most of the staff were hanging around looking busy, maybe looking for lint in their pockets. Sure is hard work that lint hunting.

• 3 of the chairs we sat on were a little off, and one had a broken back rest, making it difficult to lean back. We asked for a change of chairs, they never came and we asked the next table politely if they needed the extra chairs on that table, and took them in replacement.

• Once seated, we noticed the fans were a little slow, and the 3 large air conditioners were not working. We called over the waiter and told him about it, but got back a reply that went something like this, “I is not know this thing, is air conditioners not my work, boss will see, yes,” and with that he promptly walked away. Good English? Yes, very! Were we pissed off? Yes, very!

• It was at this point I uttered my first cuss of the day. Don’t worry, more cursing to come.

• After waiting for 10 minutes, we got a waiter to take our ordered. He was NOT a local and we had to keep having to tell him over and over what we wanted to eat. Somehow, he kept insisting we all order the same dinner menu, maybe it was the only thing he could spell… I’m not sure about that.

• Our food and drinks came, and lo and behold, 3 fresh juices came along. We looked at the juices, and then looked at the waiter that placed them on our table. As we were about to tell him that he had the order wrong, he ran away. We had only ordered ONE (1) fresh orange juice, and here was another extra on our table. We waved like crazy, and got the waiter to come back. What ensured after that, was stupid. So stupid, that I don’t even feel like retelling that, lest my gastric acts up again. It is suffice to say that it took us 10 minutes to iron that issue up, with me saying fuck over and over again. (told you there was more cussing to come)

• After all of the above our food came (late at that) we ate quickly, and left. I was tempted to do something childish, like pour some ketchup over the tables or maybe even rip the base of a paper cup out 98% of the way, then pour in ketchup. The idea here is that when the waiter comes over to clean up the table, he will have to lift up the paper cup, and as he does that, the bottom gives way and ketchup splatters all over. But I did not. I was seething in rage, I was pissed off and my gastric was acting up.

So what did I do? I came home, got Word up, and typed this out. When I have the time, I’ll add it to my blog.

Now comes the part that I have been thinking off all day. I have been deliberating if it was ethical for me to name the above restaurant, and I have come to a conculusion that it is my civic duty to let the people out there know about that place (my friends and I know of the place, but my family somehow insisted on going there, so its not all my fault). So here it goes:

Hey there people. Been a little busy at work, but never fear, I am blogging now! So just stand up and say "Woot" 3 times ok? Good good.

So stuff at home is good, stuff at work is ok I guess, flooded (nothing new there) but ok.

The guys are flying off to South Africa tomorow, and I'm gona help drive them there. It was the only way I knew off in order to relax. :-)

THE GREAT SOCKS HUNT!
Yes, today I have a bold title up, and many of you would be wondering what is up with that? Well I woke up late to work today, and as usuall, I had breakfast infront of the TV, sipped my tea and rested.
Then i noticed that I was going to be late, and rushed to get a pair of socks, guess what? I COULD NOT FIND ANY! It was like OH MY GOD all we had at home were mismatched pairs and socks with holes in them (around the toes). And I'm left there wondering why the HELL are we KEEPING these?

Ok i got one person to say yes (and she says she's free either today or tomorow) so that's cool. Now all i need is to get the others to say yes.

Another reason for the dinner, 2 of our consultants are flying off to Africa again for some support work. I just thought it would be nice if we got together and hung-out but nOoooOOOoooOO

I think i have it fixed. I had to really quickly make an index page using simple (really, really simple HTML) and then link it to Blogger (TM) (dont forget the Trade Mark!) hehe

So now it works, and everyone can enjoy the screen captures if they dont have the game (ha ha!)

Ok. Anyone that has tried to look at the images i have listed below have failled. Why? Go ask Yahoo! (i have to add the "!" or i get sued... or something like that.. i dono)

So meh! Meh i say to these big companies that do not allow the poor man on the street to be able to add pictures easily and quickly. Just to be sure, i uploaded the images to Yahoo! Breifcase and Yahoo! Photos (cant forget the "!" now can we?) but no luck so far.

Hence the 'Meh' i said earlier.

Ola! its been a week, one heck of a week. I've slept so little i think i might fall asleep at work now... right now...darn the boss is in.. so no sleeping.

So i'm replaying Dungeon Seige (DS) again just so i can warm up and get my character nice and upgraded before i get the add on pack that is supposed to come in Oct-Nov. After that i hear DS2 is gona come out (By Gas Powered Games) and i am hoping that they allow us to port over our characters from DS1. It would be cool

Ranting away makes me hungry, and i'm not sure what i should eat today.. hrmm....

Gah...my Nokia 8250 is dead. Well the vibrator is dead anyway. And before anyone gets any smart ideas, no, i did not use it in any other way other then to let me know (silently) that there was in incomming call/msg. So..um... yeha that's it. Going to send it in to the shop later after work, then swing by to pick up a cake for bro, its his birthday.

So Happy Birthday. There i said it, now give my game cd's back you evil evil man!

On a lighter note, the place where i sometimes have my lunch (not to be named.... unless i feel like it) does not seem to serve a good local noodle dish. Yeah... i sometimes eat noodles, and this type (called 'Mi Rebus') sort of didnt make the grade.

Ugh, new morning, more work. But the boss isnt feeling too well so we have the day to ourselfs. Sorta. Got back last night, mucked about the idea of a revamp of the old webpage, brought out some old ideas and stuff. Everything is still in the planning stage yet tho. So dont get your hopes up.

Stuff is good. Just found out that now I am going to be able to get an allowance when ever i go to another state for work, its not much, but its better then nothing at all.
