I read A LOT. And early on I got hooked on a series called Wheel Of Time.
The author, Robert Jordan, has now passed away.
I'm sad but at the same time annoyed that the series may not be finished. He knew about his condition a while back, but even then the books that he kept writing seemed to go into sub-plot after sub-plot. Sad.

Yeah, sorry I've been away from the pewter for the past week or so. Just found out from you today.
I'm definitely sad to see him go. And we still don't know what will happen in Memory of Light. All those beloved characters. We need to know what happens to them!
If it wasn't for Robert Jordan we might not know each other.
